Community Engagement Manager

Community Engagement Manager will maximize opportunities with grassroots fundraising, oversee relationships with local media, coordinate community outreach, and support key fundraising events. This role will be instrumental in promoting Humane Society for Hamilton County mission and fostering meaningful connections with the community.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH:

  • Cultivate relationships with local media outlets to enhance public awareness.
  • Coordinate school-organized fundraising initiatives.
  • Oversee donation drives and special initiatives.
  • Research, write, and submit grant proposals to secure additional funding.

COMMUNICATIONS:

  • Write press releases and prepares information for the media.
  • Write and draft creative content for various communication channels.
  • Drafts and/or executes communication plans for events, campaigns, and fundraisers.

EVENT SUPPORT:

  • General support of large fundraising events.
  • Support team with physical set-up and tear-down of events.
